My Family Traditions
It is a tradition in my family to have Fondue after we go skiing and at noon on Sundays in February or March. People in Switzerland usually eat it in the winter, especially in the evening after a long day in the snow. Usually my mom makes the Fondue and we eat it outside on my balcony. It is really nice in the mountains with the snow and the sun.
My parents usually drink wine with Fondue while my brother and I drink tea. We like to have it with some pickles or little corn. In Switzerland, a common game to play with Fondue is when if you let the bread fall in the cheese, others have to give you challenges for fun. For example, one of my friends had to run around the house in the snow without shoes.
