Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground pork

  • 2 tablespoons of ginger

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of pepper

  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 2 heaping tablespoons of chopped scallions

  • 1 large egg

  • 50 dumpling wrappers

  • 1 small bowl of water

Directions

  1. Combine pork, ginger, salt, pepper, soy sauce, scallions, and egg together in a bowl

  2. Take one dumpling wrapper and put on small spoonful of pork mixture in the center

  3. Dip finger in the bowl of water

  4. Trace the water around the edge of the wrapper

  5. Fold the wrapper in half to enclose pork inside

  6. Pinch the wrapper securely closed

  7. Pan fry the dumplings until golden brown

TIP: Do not overfill the dumplings with the pork! Otherwise the dumpling may explode when cooking!

 

 

Serving Suggestions: Dip in soy sauce with added ginger, over rice for and extra pop of flavor!
